Food Forethought now available!

April 01, 2014

The Marketplace Institute is pleased to announce Food Forethought, our new four-part video series which explores the relation of food to the Christian faith.

"Human beings are unique in that we don't just eat to fuel ourselves," explains Professor Loren Wilkinson, "we have meals; we have feasts. Eating is also an occasion for communication."

Food Forethought invites you to reflect on this relationship, prompting questions like: "should our view of creation impact what we eat and how we eat?" Through personal reflection and interviews, this series follows Loren and Mary Ruth Wilkinson and a cohort of their students as they explore what it means to have a Christian view of food, community and creation.

Created by former Regent College student, Theran Knighton-Fitt, the series includes four 30 minute episodes and a corresponding discussion guide so that the episodes can be used in a small group setting.

Food Forethought is now available for sale through Regent College Audio. Order your copy today!
