Alumni ReFrame Stories

March 17, 2015

ReFrame is being used by alumni around the globe. Wei-in Lim (MDiv'12) and his wife Mag recently led 40 young adults through ReFrame in the church they pastor in Singapore. Wei-in writes, “I am glad to finally have a resource in my hands that allows me to share some of the knowledge and thinking I gained from all those years in Regent, albeit in a compact and accessible way.”

Paul and Jill Westerholm (MDiv'12, MATS'13) are leading a group they pastor through the material in Burlington, Ontario. Paul shares: “overall, people are finding it incredibly helpful, eye opening, and inspiring… It has been exciting to see people make connections, to put the pieces of the Biblical story together, realizing just how relevant the entire Biblical narrative is to knowing how to live today.”

A retired participant in Paul’s group reflects: “let me just say how much I have loved this course. There have been so many ‘wow, I never thought of that before’ moments! To see the relationship between Daniel and the Israelites, and us as aliens in this world is so applicable to all of us!”

ReFrame is a ten-week film-based course that begins with the conviction that the story of Scripture is relevant to all of life. Designed for groups, ReFrame invites engagement with theological teaching in the context of our own stories and experiences. The videos and the accompanying study guides enable anyone to lead groups through this material, regardless of whether or not they have previous theological training. You can find out more about ReFrame at
